A Proposal for Dave McCusker
Your beds already carry the frequency. This is the form that lets people feel it from the first screen.
One thing you said on our call has stayed with me. Someone can have a product nowhere near the capability of yours, and still create the impression of an experience better. You are right, and it may be the most important sentence in this proposal. It is also the most hopeful one, because the impression is the part that can be built.
In 1787, Ernst Chladni scattered sand across a metal plate and drew a violin bow along its edge. The sand jumped, drifted, and then settled into a precise geometry that had been hiding in the sound the whole time. Change the note, and the sand finds a new form. That is the work in front of us. Your beds already make the frequency: 600 watts through 4 tactile transducers, a hardwood frame built by hand, and a lossless path from the app to the body. Our work is the sand. We make the pattern visible, so people can see what they are about to feel.
From my own time on these beds, and from everything I have read since, I believe your build quality is best in class. The brands ahead of you on screen are ahead on form, and form is exactly what we build.
This first stage is the foundation. A brand kit with a new symbol at its heart. A refreshed website that feels like walking into a gallery and still checks out like a well run store. Search work that makes Zenthesia the answer when someone asks about sound beds. And a clear direction for the systems and the growth that come after. We begin right away and carry it through these last months of the year, so Zenthesia launches dialed in at the start of the new one.
The substance is all here. The foundation gives it a form as precise as the build.
You have to insert the taste, otherwise the world will insert it for you.
Dave McCusker
That is the whole of this foundation. Your taste, drawn into a system so complete that nothing generic can creep back in, on any page, in any post, at any size.
I spent real time inside the sites you sent and the market around them. Here is my honest read, and why it is the best news in this proposal.
Sage Space has just redesigned, and it is the most refined site in the category. It is also static: a well dressed store built on the same sales template much of the web now uses. Matching it is not the goal. Clearing it, by a distance anyone can feel in the first 3 seconds, is.
Several of the best known beds come from one shared design lineage, and on screen they read as variations of the same product. A brand with its own symbol, its own geometry and its own light stands apart the moment it loads.
Vibe photographs its beds in resort courtyards and sunlit rooms, and the feeling sells before a single spec is read. Your beds deserve that staging too, along with something no one else can stage: the build itself.
In this category, the most polished marketing does not belong to the best built product. Yours is the stronger position by far. Engineering takes years and cannot be faked for long. Form can be built in a season.
At $7,495, the Sound Therapy Bed 2 is priced above the Sage Space flagship lounge and the Vibe PRO. That is a strength the moment the reason is visible: built by hand, 600 watts, lossless, and a founder on the other end of the phone. A premium has to be felt before the spec sheet confirms it.
AI now produces competent sameness at infinite scale, and every feed and every store is filling with it. The brands that feel unmistakably made by people are the ones that hold attention, and the ones that can hold a higher price.
When we searched vibroacoustic sound beds on our call, Zenthesia came up fourth, with Sage Space first. More and more buyers now ask ChatGPT or Perplexity before they ever see a results page. Your deep dives are exactly the kind of source those engines trust, once they are structured to be read that way.
You said the specification is the thing that cannot be replicated. These are the 4 places where the form carries that truth to the buyer.
The specs that matter, translated into what the body feels, and an honest side by side where people try a mat and then the bed, and say what they notice.
The bed seen in the life it creates, starting with the temple room at Awaken Ranch. The white backdrop images stay on the product page, where they belong.
Search and answer engine structure, so the deep dives you have already written carry Zenthesia to the top whenever anyone asks about sound beds.
The festivals, the live sound and the people on the beds, gathered into one story, so a newcomer meets a movement rather than a product.
The symbol, the brand kit, the website, the search work and the direction for growth, built as one system and launched together.
One message, wherever someone first meets it. The gallery tells the whole story once, then opens the door written for them: the person bringing the experience home, or the organization building a clinic or retreat center around it.
You told me some pages feel more cookie cutter than others, and that you need a clear brand kit. This is that kit, built completely and handed over as one finished deliverable, with every asset connected to it.
The spiral of sound waves carries Zen and synesthesia exactly as you meant it to, and it stays at the heart of the identity.
A wordless mark, the way the glyphs carved into ancient temples hold a whole idea without a single letter. It holds the energy of Zenthesia and works where the full logo cannot: the corner of a reel, the face of a bed, a pattern, a favicon. Built to read at 16 pixels and at 16 feet.
The night with its purples and blues stays as the core. Just below is one example of a second, brighter register we could add.
A typographic system with a voice of its own, so a headline reads as Zenthesia before the logo is ever in view.
The messaging, written from your voice: the story, the 2 buyers, and the language that joins the technical and the felt, so every page and every caption says the same thing in the same way.
Custom sacred geometry drawn from sound itself, the way this page is drawn, for dividers, frames, packaging and motion.
A full set made in the same hand, so every page and every product speaks one language.
How Zenthesia is lit, staged and framed, with a shot flow ready for every shoot.
The original idea was cosmic, and the deep ground with its purples and blues stays. One example of where we could take it is a second register: a soft sand light that sections of the site rise into, the way this one just did, and then recede from, back into the dark.
The contrast makes both registers richer, and lifestyle photography from Awaken Ranch will sit beautifully in the light one.
Just an exampleEverything in this section is subject to change. It shows a direction, and the final colors are set together in the brand kit, tested against your logo and your photography.
E-commerce is where you live, so the site has to sell. The art is in the balance: beautiful enough that someone's nervous system settles the moment it loads, clear enough that checkout is never more than a step away.
An immersive first screen with the bed staged in a real space, then the story, the difference and the proof, each one inviting the next step.
Led by the experience, with your full radical transparency one tap away for everyone who wants every number.
An honest comparison: a mat and a bed side by side, the specs that change what the body feels, and real people describing it in their own words.
A page written for organizations building clinics, wellness centers and retreat centers: the technology, the difference, and why a few exceptional beds raise the value of the whole space.
Festivals, live sound, conferences and homes, with the people on the beds.
Built from the page you are writing now, in your own voice: the founder who built the first bed because nothing on the market met his standard.
The roXiva RX1 and the Cyberdelic Bundle, presented as part of one world: sound, vibration and light.
Your articles, redesigned to read as beautifully as they rank.
Shopify stays the engine for checkout, inventory and orders. Every page is designed and built by hand by our developers, and we choose the exact build together, so you keep the freedom to ship your own updates.
You do not have one buyer, and you should not have to choose. Consciousness and nervous system regulation are both true of this bed. So the brand says one clear thing about what Zenthesia is, and then tailors it to each kind of buyer: the person bringing a bed into their own home, and the organization building a clinic or retreat center around experiences like this one.
Music lovers, explorers, and people already deep in breathwork, meditation or their own healing, ready to say yes to something extraordinary: a journey without leaving home. They buy the experience, and the specification confirms it. For them, Zenthesia becomes part of how they rest, listen and explore, every week of the year.
Teams building psychedelic and non psychedelic clinics, wellness centers and retreat centers, many of them opening now as states like Oregon and Colorado license psilocybin programs. Zenthesia becomes part of what they are building, and even 4 beds can raise the value of a whole center, because almost no one else has them.
That second page is the one you send to the clinic owner who tried a mat beside your bed and said, okay, I get it.
You already write the most thorough articles in the category, and they outperform the keyword farms for a reason. The foundation gives that depth the structure search engines and answer engines need to lift it to the top.
Speed, clean structure, metadata, internal links and a site map that every crawler reads easily.
Product, review, FAQ, article and organization schema, so every engine understands exactly what Zenthesia is, what it costs and what people say about it.
Each deep dive gains a clear summary, direct answers to the questions buyers ask, and defined terms: the shape that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers draw on when they cite a source.
Vibroacoustic sound bed, sound therapy bed, vibroacoustic therapy, tactile transducer, and the comparisons people search right before they buy.
Honest pages for the questions buyers ask, built on the comparisons you have already written.
Search Console and analytics set up properly, so we can see what ranks, what gets cited, and what turns into a sale.
Rankings are earned over months, not days. The foundation makes Zenthesia the strongest candidate in the category, and every deep dive you publish keeps feeding it.
As you put it, the white backdrop images are essential, but they are not what you lead with. The foundation includes the creative direction and the shot flow for the images that are.
Art direction that builds a world around the bed and sees it through fresh eyes: the settings, the light, the styling, the people, and a shot flow that captures all of it.
Awaken Ranch as the first setting, directed for both the night and the bright octave.
Short films of people trying a mat and then the bed, describing honestly what they feel, down to the low notes moving through the whole body.
The festivals, the conferences and the live sound, gathered into a gallery that shows a culture already forming.
Real people talking about the bed, from Instagram to the review page, so a newcomer sees a row of people who already love it.
The frame, the sanding, the wiring, the testing. A bed built by hand is a story no competitor can stage, and it is the clearest reason for the price.
The shoot itself and the processing of the images sit outside the foundation, and can be added for a small additional fee.
You said you wanted your voice in this from the beginning, and it should be. The menus and the About page you are working on now are not duplicate work. They become the ground we build on.
We begin right away and flow through these last months of the year, quietly in the background of your holiday push, so Zenthesia launches dialed in at the start of the new one.
The work starts now and does not wait on the bed. You build it alongside, low to the ground on the short legs, and it becomes part of the music I make and the gatherings I host, so it starts working for Zenthesia the day it arrives.
From you: the bed, in the couple of weeks you mentioned.
We build the master context layer: your story, your specs, both buyers, and the language that joins the technical and the felt. The pages you are writing now feed straight into it.
From you: a working session, and the pages in progress.
Symbol explorations first, then color, type, geometry and icons, until the whole kit holds together.
From you: your honest reactions, and approval of the direction.
The site designed page by page: the home page first, then the bed, the difference and the page for clinics and retreats. The world for the shoot is built alongside it, with the shot flow ready for Awaken Ranch.
From you: feedback and approvals.
Our developers build it by hand on Shopify, the search structure goes in, and everything is tested on every screen size.
From you: a final review.
Zenthesia relaunches with a new symbol, a new site and one clear story, with months of momentum to carry into Psychedelic Science in May.
From you: the launch moment, on your channels.
Once the foundation is live, the work turns to growth: the social push, the systems, and the demand that makes the next build safe.
You told me you will not borrow a million dollars on 5 sales a month, and you are right. The brand is how the demand gets proven without borrowing anything. Every mark below is one bed.
Planning numbers at $7,500, the clean price you mentioned, not promises. When demand outruns the bench, a waitlist forms, and a waitlist lets the price rise with it. A season like that funds the space and the team without a loan.
Content direction, creators and affiliates, and reels that carry the new aesthetic, because social media is where most people will first meet Zenthesia.
Lead magnets, ManyChat automations and email flows that turn a moment of curiosity into a buyer, and a buyer into someone who tells a friend.
Handmade scarcity, made beautiful: a waitlist that lets demand show itself before you scale to meet it.
Outreach and partnerships with organizations building clinics and retreat centers, where one center that loves its beds leads to the next.
The app's missing piece is journey tracks, and I would love to compose them with you, with the possibility of exclusive light sequences from roXiva made for those tracks.
Collaborations like my friend Carl Hayden Smith's Museum of Consciousness, where a 20 minute journey of sound and a Zenthesia bed could meet.
None of this is part of today's decision. It is where the foundation leads, and we shape it together once Zenthesia has launched.
The symbol, the brand kit, the website, the search work and the direction for growth, built as one system.
For the social push, the systems and the scale, shaped together once the foundation has launched.
Foundations like this one range from $10,000 to $50,000, depending on what a business needs built. For Zenthesia, the whole exchange is the bed plus $3,500, because I believe in what you have built and I want this to feel good on both sides.
The bed opens the exchange, and the work begins right away. The remaining $3,500 is due upon completion, when the foundation is finished and ready to launch.
Creative direction and the shot flow are included. The photo shoot itself and the processing of the images are not, and can be added for a small additional fee.
Everything we create is yours: the symbol, the kit, every file, and the site itself.
The frequency is already there. Now we give it form.
Say the word, and we begin right away.
